BUCKCHERRY: Video Interview With STEVIE D. Posted Online
August 15, 2009Metal Gods TV conducted an interview with guitarist Stevie D. of California rockers BUCKCHERRY at the Sonisphere festival, which was held on August 1-2, 2009 at the legendary Knebworth Park, United Kingdom. Watch the four-minute chat below.
BUCKCHERRY was forced to cancel its German dates in early August due to "a severe respiratory tract infection and laryngitis" suffered by the band's singer, Josh Todd.
A spokesman for the band's management company, Tenth Street Entertainment, said, "After eight critically acclaimed shows in the U.K., culminating in a packed show at the Forum for the Kerrang! Awards and a performance at Sonisphere, it is unfortunate BUCKCHERRY will be delayed in showing Germany what U.K. fans were able to witness the last two weeks."
New dates in these cities are being scheduled and existing tickets for these shows will be refunded in full at point of purchase.
Said Josh Todd, "The band has really been looking forward to performing in Germany and I am saddened to be in this position. We look forward to returning soon and thank all of the German fans for their support of BUCKCHERRY."
